100th Post Give-away

I'm a little late with this give-away, but December was just not a good time to do it.

I am giving away 1/2 yard each of 3 different designs of Moda Twill. This is soft fabric, can be used for a quilt, book covers, tote bag, roll ups for all different uses or even an apron. Maybe you want to make Dad an apron for Father's Day. It's great when lined with a heavier fabric.

I am including a roll of heavy plastic for making photo pockets or label pockets. Maybe you want to make a makeup case and line it? Fun trims too! About 2 yards of each. A cute pin cushion and a plastic baggy half full of buttons, some vintage, some new and some just fun!

Just leave a comment and tell me what you might use these items for, make sure I can contact you by email.

I'll pick a name on Friday, February 6th. If you mention this give-away on your blog and let me know in your comment, I'll put your name in an extra 5 times.

Here is today's ice up date. We are waiting on one huge storm on Monday. The thought of it makes my toes curl!
Try getting out the back door with 40 inch long icicles hanging down!

Hi Holee!

Your 100th post already!
Well, I'm here to celebrate your blogging with you!

Don't you love twill?!! I sewed up my little bags with twill and then decided it's twill until I learn how to sew on sweater fabrics!
So, I'd have to say, if I won your Give-away twills, it would be used in the handbags!

Hope your weather is improving.
It's almost February, which to me, means warmer stuff on the way.
Our shrubs are mangled from this winter! I saw a group of quail running across the icey-snow heading for the underneath of the butterfly bush.....it's not much of a covering for them, it's almost flattened.

Have a great weekend!

Congrats!!!!

What a fun assortment. I think I would have my 11 year old granddaughters over and let them create, they love to sew with Gramma and I think they have tons of fun with all your cool stuff.

Thankfully the ice at our place is not as imposing as yours! lol I will blog about your giveaway and post a pic of the icicles outside my bedroom window, but they do not compare to yours! I would be afraid to leave your house! Be careful! Hope things go okay during the storm you are expecting!
What I would do with the fabric/accents/giveaway: I really need an organizer for my sewing/bedroom. With limited space I find small stuff gets lost easily! Hmmmm... now if I win I will have to clean up! LOL don't pick me! No, just kidding - PICK ME! LOL
I got a good laugh at your comment on my blog about tub markers! LOL I let Alexxa use washable paints and markers when we run out of tub paints. Luckily our permenant markers are kept downstairs and the tub is upstairs! What a great memory though to have! It is amazing how fast kids grow up! Every day I tell my daughter to cherish the days as they will soon be gone!
Good luck everyone on the giveaway! Thank you Holee for sharing your blog with us!

Holee, I'm not entering the giveaway because thanks to winning a embellishment giveaway and tisme sponsering me in the embellishment swap and then I went a bit over board with buying ribbon, lace, trims, buttons and all I think I have more then I will ever use. I just want to Congratulate you on your 100th post and say WOWser to the ice. My goodness, that looks dangerous. I'd hate to have one of those things fall while walking by. I sure hope your weather breaks before long. I can't imagine what you all are going through. I've never really experienced a winter like that. I was out working in the yard today and many of the bulbs here have already come up. Bad thing is we always have that one last cold spell that waits till they come up and then comes along and freezes them. Then it's turns unbearably hot. I'm thinking our weather is now what the weather will be like up your way around the time for the retreat. Looking forward to seeing the sites. I've googled it many times just to look at the pics, it so pretty way up there. Only, I never seen the winter pics!!!

Your goodies sound like just what I need to make a display wall hanging for my growing collection of fabric postcards.

Those icicles are amazing!

Do you live in Kentucky? LOL your ice sounds just like what I'm dealing with now!

I love the fabrics and buttons and they will make there way into a crazy quilt. I've always wanted to make a fabric pocket on the back of my quilts so the plastic would also be fun to play with. Thanks!

What a lovely giveaway. Please enter my name in your draw. Lately I'm into making all kinds of bags that the twill would be great for. I'm off to discover your blog, always great to find a new one and meet a new friend.

Hello Bea - Barb sent me over! If I won your lovely giveaway, I think I would use the fabric in a quilt since I adore neutral colours, or maybe for pillows that could be accented with buttons. Not sure about the plastic, but I do like your idea of lining make-up bags (or perhaps a fancy lunch bag).
We also will have 6 more weeks of winter (at least). Wiarton Willie said so.

Oh - and I've mentioned your giveaway on my blog, too!

I'd love to use some of the treasures for tote bags with photo pockets on the outside....good way for quilters to go to workshops with their "stuff" and show off photos of kids/grandkids/pets, etc. Please enter me in your giveaway, too. Visit my blog as I'll be having my 100th post giveaway before the month of February is over.

Your giveaway looks great! I think I would actually make an apron for my DH who loves to cook in the weekend. And the ribbon - I would use for a vintage bag!
Have a happy day!
