More doll clothes from recycled kids clothes

Finally got the red top to the skirt done. It's made from a kids OP tank top.  The sequin dress is also made from a kids tank top.

Tomorrow I'm working on PJ's and a robe, a tutu and top, and a furry vest set.  It was 90 today and  will be again tomorrow. Since I'm trapped in the air conditioning maybe I'll get a lot more sewn!

I love how it turned out. It looks so cute. But how long did it takes for you to make those dresses?

jelly andrews: I started 8 weeks ago but was sick for 2 weeks and then had surgery to recover from. The red dot shirt is a good example. I just laid my paper pattern over the neck line of the child's shirt and cut it out. All I had to do was sew it down the sides and the bottom...about 1 hour to complete. yes, I also added Velcro to the back to close it. Pretty easy!
