I have to interrupt my blog give-away for something very important....bet you think I mean the Super Bowl? NOPE! Here in Pennsylvania we are on a count down. GroundHog Day is a big thing here. I don't live far from Phil's home, Punxsutawney, Pa. If Phil doesn't do a good job, I might hunt him down and give him a time out..forever!
For those of you who don't know about Phil, just go to his site and read all about him. If nothing else, it will give you a good laugh!

Holee, I was born and raised in Punsxutawney, and all my family still live there. I will be wearing my Punxsy Phil t-shirt to work tomorrow to continue to share the fun of Phil. I always make gingerbread groundhog cookies for that day too.

Got up early to see if Phil saw his shadow! Then looked outside....we got snow overnight.
...crying outloud! Well, it's just a little bit, I could sweep it away!
My family bought me the movie,
Groundhog's Day - because I'd watch it every time it was on, enduring all the long commercials!
Someone at the News channel has a descendant of Phil (a fact, I dunno!), but I got to meet him/her.

So, did you go shot ole Phil, I sure hope not. Is Phil's predictions usually accurate, I pray that if it is still another 6 weeks at least is isn't as bad has what it has been. Praying the sun shines soon for all. Donna

On a side note: I am picking up Chris at 4pm so SHE can come do her own laundry! LOL I don't think she was happy with that, but... OH WELL! :)
