Between the floor boards we found this glass button with a hand made back. I think it is a shoe button. I have a few pairs of victorian shoes and all of them have this kind of pointed button. I think it is made that way so the leather button hole slides easily over the button when pulled with the button hook.
These are some of the hand cut nails from the wall boards. They have 4 flat sides and even the flat top has 4 flat sides. Some are thick, short, tall, but all have a cutting edge on the bottom to pass into the wood. Amazing.
